Christine Campbell outdoors in the Okanagan

How she got here.

Christine didn't choose physiotherapy so much as grow into it. She was ten years old and at her first physio appointment when she noticed that the student treating her was an Olympic gymnast — whose training gym happened to be right next door to her gymnastics club. That was that.

Growing up competing seriously in gymnastics, soccer, and field hockey, Christine was always in and around physio rooms. She fell in love with the work happening there: the way a good practitioner could read a body, find the problem, and put someone back together so they could get back to what they loved. It was fascinating. It still is.

That athletic career took Christine to UBC, where she studied Human Kinetics and captained the varsity women's field hockey team. She went further than most — competing for Canada on the international stage, including at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro and the 2008 Olympic Qualifier in Victoria, BC. When the Olympic pursuit wound down, she turned fully toward the other thing she loved — and in 2010, completed her Master of Physiotherapy at UBC.

Your goals.
Your plan.

Christine's patients aren't cases to move through. They're people with specific goals, specific lives, and specific reasons they need to get back to full function — whether that's hiking the KVR trail pain-free, keeping up with their kids on a Saturday bike ride, or just getting through a workday without their back screaming at them.

Her approach is hands-on and evidence-informed. She combines advanced manual therapy with exercise programs designed around your body and your goals — not a generic template.

“Consistency beats intensity every time. Little bits, done regularly, add up to big results.”

— Christine Campbell

Life in Penticton

Outside the clinic, you'll find Christine on the sideline of a soccer field coaching her daughter's team, buried happily in a sewing project, or out somewhere in the BC backcountry with her family — hiking, biking, and finding new places to explore.

She also volunteers with her local Girl Guides, which tells you something about what she values: building confidence, teamwork, and resilience in young people. The same things she tries to build in her patients.
